We provide tailored digital media workshops for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Participants are involved at every stage of the production of their own digital project from concept to exhibition.

We specialise in film workshops and are regional leaders in this field, having managed or facilitated five UK Film Council First Light projects: the UK's flagship scheme for young filmmakers.

We have now expanded into many other areas of digital production, having facilitated photography, radio, graphics and online projects, including creativedeepspace.com

Digital media creation is a fantastic way of developing transferable skills, from numeracy and literacy to communication and teamwork; from self-confidence and problem solving to thinking creatively and exploring issues.

Our workshops involve participants at the core of the production process. We have worked with people aged 5 - 75 to create inclusive and exciting media. We train, mentor and facilitate production, from concept to exhibition.

Our participatory work has been shortlisted twice at the UK Film Council First Light Awards, shortlisted at the Leeds International Young People's Film Festival, shown at art galleries, online, at several national & international film festivals, and on national television. Creative Deep Space is currently touring libraries across the county of Northumberland.
