Arpeggio Films managed the multi-award winning Beacon Hill Film Project between 2005 – 2011, which supports learning disabled filmmakers and artists to create and exhibit their own projects. We have since co-founded Beacon Hill Arts social enterprise, which will continue this valuable work.

Beacon Hill Film Project has won the “National Young Filmmakers Award”, a First Light Award for “Best Original Music”, Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival’s “Chris Anderson Award”, a Kids for Kids Young Jury Award for “Best Overall Film”, a Cinemagic Award for "Best Innovation" and the National Lottery Award for UK’s “Best Arts Project” broadcast live on BBC 1 to a primetime audience of 2.2 million.
The filmmakers' work has been screened at some of the most prestigious venues in the UK, including at Encounters Film Festival (the largest professional short film festival in the UK), the International Youth Arts Festival, CineYouth Chicago and as part of the UK Future Filmmakers Festival, curated by the BFI, which involved simultaneous screenings at 10 UK venues including BFI Southbank and Glasgow Film Theatre.
During its National Lottery Award campaign, the team won high profile support from figures across the world of film including actors Toby Jones and Jason Isaacs and film composer David Arnold.

Beacon Hill Arts is a partnership between Arpeggio Films, filmmaker Andrew Coats and Beacon Hill Business & Enterprise College.
